TAG Task Force Officers' trained in Hazmat

The TAG Law Enforcement Task Force was awarded a Homeland Security Grant in 2003.  This grant allowed for the funding of equipment and training for twelve law enforcement officers in our region.

This grant was applied for to equip and train law enforcement so they are capable of responding with hazardous material teams to a weapon of mass destruction incident.

The overall goal of this project is to have multi-disciplinary personnel equipped and trained to assist at any hazard site requiring a law enforcement presence.

TAG is the first organized law enforcement unit in the state of Ohio to have all personnel trained as hazardous material technicians.
