Weapons, drugs, dolls found
in Warren raid
Tribune Chronicle |
WARREN - Police on Saturday raided a Warren home uncovering drugs, money,
guns and a large collection of stolen Barbie dolls.
Police say the resident, Michael Kuntz, 31, will likely face charges related
to trafficking and possession of cocaine and marijuana, receiving stolen
property, drug paraphernalia, weapons under disability and other firearms
offenses stemming from a three-month investigation that culminated with the
raid of his home at 1648 N. Park Ave.
Specific charges still need to be determined.
According to information provided by the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law
Enforcement Task Force, police seized more than two pounds of cocaine,
several pounds of marijuana, surveillance camera, drug paraphernalia,
prescription drugs, ammunition, more than $3,000 and three loaded guns,
including a sub-machine gun.
Also recovered were a large collection of Barbie dolls and power tools,
which police identified as stolen property, according to TAG.
The investigation and search was done by TAG, the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and its special response team, the Cleveland Narcotics Unit, Trumbull County
Sheriff's Office investigative division and the Lordstown Police Department.
Kuntz is due in Warren Municipal Court on Monday.
