CORTLAND — Members of the Trumbull-Ashtabula-Geauga Law
Enforcement Task Force arrested two women Wednesday who were wanted by the
Ohio Parole Authority. Julia Miller and Tara Carsey were picked up with the
assistance of Cortland Police at 4887 Warren-Meadville Road in Mecca
Township as "violators at large," the task force said. The women had
previously been serving time at the Ohio Reformatory for Women for
complicity to kidnapping, complicity to extortion, kidnapping, felonious
assault and aggravated burglary. Miller was considered dangerous and
possibly armed. After serving their sentences, both women failed to report
and were wanted by authorities.
